Q. Why can’t we pray for people other than just our grandchildren?

A. Most definitely you can!  The emphasis to pray for your grandkids does not mean in any way you can’t pray for others e.g. their parents, teachers, friends – in fact anyone who may be associated with your grandchild.  Our grandkids are the glue that bring us together but if there are other things on your heart to pray for, go for it!  We suggest you let the others in your group know that this is what you are including in your prayers.  If the group transitions in to a more general group or prayer group that is great by us.  We are confident there will prayers for your grandkids somewhere along the line!  We have found that as our awareness of our grandkids’ needs grow so do our prayers increase for them.

Q. We can’t organise it to be three consecutive weeks - does that matter?

A. Not in the least. The important thing is to get together when you can.  We have found that when granddads do get together, though they might be hesitant at first they become more eager to meet again and again.  This is always great to discover.
